Hello there!

Today, while laundry was washing/drying, I made flowers!  LOTS of them!!

I started having Pinterest Parties at my house and some of my friends and family have hosted at their houses!  This is my version of the Coffee Filter Wreath!  The flowers are made from coffee filters!!  LOVE THEM!  Here is the link to the site I pinned with her instructions  http://lovelycraftyhome.com/2012/01/30/the-coffee-filter-wreath/

What do you all think of my Spring colored coffee filter wreath?  You should really make one for yourself!  The flowers are gorgeous!

Made the SPRING blocks myself too!!!!  :o)  Told ya I was feeling scrappy lately!

Name Frames

Hello again my sweet friends!  I am actually home today with no plans!!!  And I am feeling crafty! LOL!

I have cleaned my entire house, made my grocery list (still need to get dressed and go to store), and made this cute frame for a customer order on my Etsy store!  It has put me in the crafty mood today!!!

I made the leather looking paper with ink and water technique, sprayed the letters and background paper with a couple of different brown and green Lindy's stamp gang sprays to give them an old rusty gate look with a bit of sparkle.  I made the rope with twine and added the hat/boot stickers!  What do you think?

I hope you all have a wonderful day!  I think I will go get my groceries so I can craft the rest of the weekend!!!

God bless you and your families!

Bekah's Banner

Good morning everyone!  I hope that your morning looks as beautiful outside as it does here!  I apologize for the long pause between posts here on my blog.  As many of you know, my daughter Hannah is going through some health issues and tests to find out what is causing them.  So haven't had much creative "mojo" as my friend Geordie would say (luv ya G).  However, making a banner for my younger daughter Rebekah, came to mind when I was taking out the new comforter she bought for her new room! My son is moving out in a few days and Bekah is getting the room.

I want to have it fixed up nice for her. So, I thought I would start by creating a name banner!  This is really only the second time I have created a banner.  I had so much fun making a Halloween one for a swap on LSH.  I am very easily addicted to anything to do with paper!  :o)

I used paper from the Basic Grey collection Infuse, to cover the chipboard pendants.  Then I inked the edges with some of Tim Holtz Distress Ink in Vintage Photo and topped them all with some pretty sequin white lace and I Am Roses.  The paper collection and letters for her name came from a set that was in my Largest RAK Ever and are Tim Holtz Idea-ology Grungeboard.  I sprayed them with some Lindys Stamp Gang Hottie Patottie Hot Pink and homemade mist I made with Matallic Rose acrylic paint.

On each end of the banner, I punched a hole with my Crop-A-Dile and added pink lace, rikrak, and some fibers I also received in a RAK.

I am very pleased with how it turned out.  My Bekah boo loves it!  What do you think?

Thanks for stopping in!  Enjoy!

God bless you all and your families!

Prayers Needed!!

Good morning friends.  I haven't been socializing with my wonderful LSH group or crafting much in the past few days because my dear sweet daughter Hannah is having some health issues.  This time the trip to the doctor was for pains she was having in her middle back during an asthma attack.  Once the doctor saw that she had also lost a few too many pounds in the last 2 months, 10 pounds she really didn't want or need to lose, blood work and chest xrays were taken.  Those tests came back normal as far as the screening for her thyroid, kidneys, liver, and lungs.  However, we have recently discovered that Hannah's biological father has Multiple Sclerosis and is permanently on crutches.  When this family history was mentioned to the doctor, she has now referred us to a Neurologist to have MRIs done and possible spinal tap.

Hannah continues to go to school even though the long periods of standing (Cosmetology) and sitting in class causes her discomfort.  We need your prayers that Hannah's issues are minor and temporary.  Pray for healing and no signs of MS.  We are all very nervous, scared, and in need of the power of prayer.

I will try to keep you all informed once we have more information.

God bless you all and your families!
